My first experience at the Vivre Autrement fair in Paris

4 intense days at the Vivre Autrement fair: my very first time!

I had never before participated in a major fair. Only the small Vauréal Christmas market, which I know well. So when the opportunity arose to join the Poésie des Savoir-Faire collective to exhibit at the Vivre Autrement fair in Paris, I dared to take the plunge.

I wanted to meet people and subscribers from the area, to live this adventure with other passionate artisans. I knew I wouldn't make a huge turnover (thank you current economy...), but what I was looking for above all was connection, exchange, real encounters. And I got it.

What I presented at my booth

At my booth, there was a little bit of everything:

  • my classic and adjustable bracelets,

  • phone jewelry that was very popular,

  • a selection of tumbled stones, some collector's items,

  • adjustable chakra bracelets as an exclusive,

  • and mystery pouches of 100g or 300g, for the curious who like to be surprised.

But most importantly, visitors could create their own bracelet with me, according to their desires and the energies they sought. These moments of exchange, around colors, sensations, and everyone's stories, were precious. A little cocoon of softness in the hustle and bustle of the fair.

My very first conference... x 5!

Another big first: I hosted a conference on natural stones, every day of the fair (and even twice on Sunday!).

The title?
"Natural Stones: Symbols, Traditions, and Daily Well-being"

It was stressful at first, I admit. Fortunately, I had a friend in the room and the benevolent support of the other artisans, which allowed me to relax. And very quickly, the stress gave way to joy: there were many questions, sharing, laughter, and even emotion.

I was touched to see how much my sincere discourse resonated. I spoke about the limitations and potential abuses surrounding stones. I reminded everyone that they are not magic objects, but symbolic companions that can help... provided you trust yourself first and foremost.

The feedback was incredibly positive. Several people thanked me for my transparency and honesty, and told me they felt the love I put into my creations. That's exactly what I wanted.

💬 I will repeat this conference during a special Instagram live in April. If you want to be notified, subscribe here

A colorful collective booth

The Poésie des Savoir-Faire collective helped me tremendously. Without them, I wouldn't have felt legitimate to try this adventure. Their encouragement, their organizational advice, their kindness... it changed everything.

The floral staging was much appreciated: in this immense fair, our artisan space was visible and coherent. I even kept a small flower as a souvenir.

And then there were the shared moments: listening to Angélique talk about her Murano glass beads, Sylvie recount the making of her beeswax candles... I was amazed by their expertise and passion.

What I take away from this experience

  • I met wonderful people, some fell in love with a bracelet, others took my card for later, and this is just the beginning.

  • I learned to manage a booth, to save myself a little better, to drink more (I have to stick to it!), to take short breaks even when chatting non-stop.

  • I saw that people perceive my sincerity, my desire to do well and to transmit.

  • And I loved hearing the first anecdotes of "encounters with a stone" from some visitors. It was cute, touching, and it reminds me why I do all this.
